DISCLAIMER: Not all Dentists within a practice are participating providers. We recommend you verify with your Dentist where he or she is an active PPO. There may be higher out-of-pocket costs to you if you visit a Dentist who is not a network participant. Even with daily updates to our directory, there is no guarantee that a Dentist listed is still active.

Unauthorized Use Prohibited: You may not download or reproduce this directory in any form, in whole or in part, for any use other than finding dental care providers for current or prospective users of the Dental Select network. Dental Select reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized use.

Timely Access to Care

Urgent appointments will be offered within seventy-two (72) hours of the time of request for appointment, when consistent with the Covered Person’s individual needs and as required by professionally recognized standards of practice.

Non-urgent appointments will be offered within thirty-six (36) business days of the request for appointment.

Preventive appointments will be offered within forty (40) business days of the request for appointment.

When it is necessary for a Dentist or a Covered Person to reschedule an appointment, Dentists will promptly reschedule in a manner that is appropriate for the Covered Person’s health care needs, and ensures continuity of care consistent with good professional practice.

No Referrals Needed

Dental Select does not require the member to contact our office for a referral in order for them to select or change dentists. Members are not required to contact or obtain approval by Dental Select prior to obtaining routine or emergency dental services.

Language interpreter services are available at no cost to you by calling 877-233-3797.

Filing a Complaint

If you are dissatisfied with our services, you have the right to contact the California Department of Insurance toll-free at 1-800-927-4357.

All members are entitled to full and equal access to covered services subject to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. No qualified individuals with a disability may, by reason of such disability, be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of any covered services.

Providers listed as Specialists are either board eligible or board certified.

In the event a covered person believes the relied upon directory is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, a complaint may be submitted by calling 800-999-9789, or emailing memberservices_web@dentalselect.com.
