We understand that insurance lingo doesn’t always make sense and we want your dental benefits to be clear as crystal before you sign up. Check out answers to commonly asked questions and explanations of key dental terms.
Did you know dental health is a key element to your overall health? With a good insurance plan, you are achieving more than clean teeth; you are protecting your overall health for years to come.
Want to know how much a procedure will cost before your dental visit? Simply request a pre-determination of benefits from your dentist’s office and they will contact us. We’ll then send both you and your dentist a cost estimate before you even sit down in the dental chair.
We’re constantly adding new providers to our network. But if your dentist or provider hasn’t yet joined, you can refer them here. We’ll reach out and invite them to join. We just need their name and some contact info. Referrals are usually processed in less than two weeks.
When benefits are offered through an employer, we coordinate with them directly for payment. Usually, you will see the authorized amount as a deduction from your payroll check. Check with your company’s Human Resources or Benefits Coordinator to see how premiums are setup for your company.
Dental Select’s MaxRewards is special feature designed to reward members who stay on a Dental Select plan. For no additional cost, your maximum benefit will increase each year up to $2,000. So the longer you stay on a plan, the more you can accumulate for your future dental needs. To find out if your plan is eligible for MaxRewards, ask your company’s benefit representative for more information.
